The Westside Youth Orchestra provides dedicated young musicians an exceptional pre-professional orchestra experience through creative rehearsals and performances that welcome, inspire, and entertain the diverse Los Angeles community. We are an after-school youth orchestra program offering the advanced orchestra, WYO, for students between the ages of 10 to 19 by audition, and WYO Juniors for beginning musicians between the ages of 6 – 10. Our vision is to inspire young people to become extraordinary musicians, compassionate human beings, and responsible world-class citizens who can realize their dreams and contribute to the cultural well-being of society.
